In some cases excess fat on the upper arm area can be removed with liposuction alone or in combination with an arm lift. Should the patient have a lot of excess loose skin, an upper arm lift is the best option. This is especially the case after significant weight loss. The incision reaches from the armpit down to the inside of the upper arm, and excess skin is removed.
