Order of Events

Prerequisites required in order to arrange your plastic surgery

1.	Before coming here we require you to have a check-up with your MD to make sure everything is OK with you medically and you are fit to undergo surgery. For larger surgeries (abdominoplasty) we suggest you have the blood test, a blood pressure-check and an ECG at home and bring the results with you. We also need to see photographs on the areas considered for surgery.
2.	Once you have decided on a date for your surgery we will check availability and pencil you in to the calender. To confirm this date you need to book your flight and send us the booking confirmation. Once we have received the confirmation your appointment will become a firm booking.
3.	After booking the appointment you will need to fill in our Medical Questionnaire online, read the Terms & Conditions and submit them.
4.	You will receive written confirmation of appointments.
5. It includes Country Code, Bank Code, Sort Code and Account Number. As of 1st January 2007, all transfers within the EU have to be made via IBAN to ensure a fast and secure transfer. The actual costs of the surgery will have to be paid at the clinic on the day of the surgery in cash (EUR, HUF) or by credit card (MasterCard or Visa). Debit cards are not accepted.
6.	Should you cancel the appointment within 14 days before the scheduled surgery, you will loose the administration fee. Should you wish to change the appointment more than 14 days before surgery is scheduled, the administration fee will be credited toward the new appointment.
7.	In the event that it transpires during the preliminary examination in Hungary that the operation cannot be undertaken as required due to a previously undisclosed medical condition, no refund will be paid.
8.	If your surgery requires a full anaesthetic, you will spend the first night at the clinic. If not, you will be taken to your hotel.
9.	During your stay in Budapest Perfect Contours will be more than happy to arrange theatre, sightseeing etc. There are several cinema complexes showing the latest films in English and cable television has a number of English language programs. There are several hotels listen on this website under 'Travel & Accommodation'. We provide free transport from these hotels to the clinic. However, you should be aware that if choose to stay outside the town centre transportation to and from the clinic will be at your own cost(transportation will be arranged by our office as we receive discounted rates from our taxi company). Due to ongoing major road works, traffic has increased cosiderably in Budapest within the past year. Please let us know which hotel you have chosen in order for us to make the appropriate arrangements. Please bear in mind hotels within the city centre will include a free pick up to and from the clinic.

Plastic surgery - How it works

2.	Fill in medical sheet and return it to us. You will receive all information necessary and a quote for your surgery. We will ask you to send us photos of the areas you want to have surgery on, to confirm surgery.
3.	Upon agreeing a date, you will be pencilled in for surgery. Book your flight and send us the flight confirmation via e-mail and transfer the administration fee to secure your booking.
4.	You will then receive a confirmation for the appointment together with all details and logistics of your surgery and stay.
5.	The administration fee has to be paid  in advance of the surgery.
6.	You will have to book your flight yourself but we will be happy to book your hotel here as we have special rates with the listed hotels. You may choose to stay in an apartment in which case we can put you in touch with various owners. We arrange your taxi transfer from and to the airport. They are complementary.
7.	Once you have arrived your contact from the Perfect Contours team will contact you by telephone at the hotel and discuss the details of your pick-up in the morning of the surgery.
8.	The consultation with your surgeon will most probably take place in the morning of your surgery, unless you are here the day before. You will of course be accompanied by one of us to your consultation. If you did not bring your test results, the  tests are performed in the morning as well. We can only ensure an early operation if you arrive with test results, which are not older than 10 days.
9.	The surgery fee will have to be paid at the clinic after the consultation but before the surgery. This usually takes place in cash (Euros or HUF) or credit card as transfers can take up to several days. Debit cards are not accepted. In the event that the patient can only pay by transfer this will have to be arranged in advance. Please note that an international transfer can take up to six working days.
