Dr. Géza Sikos
Plastic surgeon, hair transplant specialist
 Dr. Sikos has more than 22 years of experience on the field of plastic surgery. He was one of the first to open a private clinic in Hungary. Sikos Plastic Surgery has been successfully operating since 1992.
1980: Graduates at Semmelweis Medical University
1980-84: Works as a surgeon at Péterfy Hospital
1984: Certificate of completion of specialist training in general surgery
1984-92: Works as a plastic surgeon at Péterfy Hospital
1987: Certificate of completion of specialist training in plastic surgery
1989: Works alongside Prof. Millesi on a 3-month grant at the Plastic Surgery Ward of AKH in Vienna
1990: Works at the Dermatology Clinic of Semmelweis Medical University as a plastic surgeon
1991: Founds Medicinart Plastic Surgery Private Clinic
1992: Leaves Medicinart and founds Sikos Esthetic and Plastic Surgery Clinic, his current place of work
1993: He is founder and chairman of MPHEST (Hungarian Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Society of Surgeons), Private Surgeons’s Section until 2002, then first secretary from 2002-2004
2002-2005: First Secretary and member of the board of MPHEST
2005-től: He is a member of the University Board of plastic surgeons who decides which surgeons can become plastic surgeons
Dr. Sikos is member of the following associations:
Hungarian Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Society of Surgeons (MPHEST) since 1987 and its Private Surgeons’ Section since 1993
International Confederation of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS) and its European associate (ESPRAS)
International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) since 1996 as the first Hungarian member
European Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ESHRS) 1998- 2002 as first secretary
Hungarian Society of Dermatology (MDT)
He takes part and is a regular speaker in plastic surgery congresses in Hungary and abroad. His special field of operation is the Hair Transplant Surgery with Follicular Units.
