In most cases breast reduction follows a medical complaint. Oversized or very heavy breasts can lead to severe back problems and difficulty with maintaining posture. In the breast reduction procedure, removing tissue from the lower part of the breast reduces the breast volume. There will be a circular incision around the areola and a vertical cut from the areola down to the crease of the breast. In some cases (where the breasts are very large) an incision in the crease of the breast is also necessary. Following breast reduction the problem is largely alleviated but can recur in the event of pregnancy, fluctuation in weight, etc.

In case of gigantomastia (reduction of extremely large breasts) the price might be higher and the minimum stay in Budapest longer.
